The Brazilian Northeastern Meeting on Singularities is an international meeting, scheduled to be held every two years, in odd years.

The first and second editions were held in João Pessoa city, Paraiba state, see link here. This third edition will be held in Salvador/Bahia/Brazil from 08 to 10 July 2015, the week before the 2nd Brazil-Mexico Meeting on Singularities. We are pleased to invite young researchers, graduate students and the scientific community to take part on it.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring together in the Brazilian Northeastern region some of the leading researchers from Brazil and from abroad, to promote the discussion of the latest issues concerning Singularity Theory and affine areas, such as Algebraic Geometry, Bifurcation Theory and Dynamical Systems. The meeting leads to an important interaction between experienced researchers, young researchers and graduate students from various regions of Brazil and abroad. This initiative is of fundamental importance for the development of the area of Singularity Theory in the Brazilian Northeastern region.
